Worship

Ash Wednesday Service – March 1st at 12pm.

We will be gather for a short service of prayer and imposition of ashes to mark the beginning of Lent on March 1st at 12pm. Lent is the 40 day season before Easter where Christians are asked to reflect on the nature of sin in their lives, and the power of the gift of the Lord’s grace and its price. The  Ashes remind us that we were created from the dust of the earth, and to dust we will return, but in the Lord, we are more than dust.  We are children of God. During Lent, we seek to understand and embrace what it means to live as children of God, as disciples of Jesus Christ. We recognize that we can choose to live in Christ or return to dust. The Lenten season invites us to be intentional about turning to Christ, who already, long ago on the cross, chose to be for us.

The service will take only about 20 minutes. We hope that you will have that much time in the lunch hour to join us. Ashes from burned palm branches Christians use on Palm Sunday are used to mark the sign of the cross on the forehead, or back of the hand, if you prefer. If you do not wish to receive ashes, please know you are still welcome to worship and to come see what this tradition is about.

Sunday Worship

We gather on Sundays at 9am to connect with God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Our service feels traditional, but relaxed. We don’t care what you wear, we’re just glad to see you. We enjoy the laughter of children in worship.

  • Traditional and Contemporary music
  • Video Projection
  • We celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion on the 1st Sunday of every month. All are welcome to participate.

You will always encounter Christ’s word of forgiveness, and God’s words of blessing in our worship. Holy Scripture infuses not only the preaching, but our song and prayer also.
